Overall, this track is probably one the best for Spring. Not very demanding, doesn’t require high physical competence, suitable for all ages, especially families and couples! What really touched me today is I saw a couple that’s over their 50s still being able to enjoy this trip together hand in hand~
The bus trip was about 3.5hrs long, we arrived at 10:45ish. We took a group photo, then had free time to roam around Chiang Kai-shek’s hometown. Specialities include taro and fish balls. Since food wasn’t the main goal of this trip, we began our hike right after lunch, about 12:30ish.
The hike up to the best plum blossom viewing spot was definitely worth it! The area was really big. Some people were flying drones, while others are taking pictures. And although there were a lot of people, we were still able to find some good spots for photos~
I stayed behind with a small group that preferred to enjoy the blossoms instead of hiking along with the rest of group. Some went back to the town and bought tickets for the museums. Overall, I think everyone were able to find their own ways to enjoy this trip.
